Franklin J. Hoppers

Jan. 16, 1833- Jan. 15, 1918 (age 84).

Frank served as a private in the 61st Regiment of the NC Infantry during the Civil War.

He has biographies included on a page of descendants of Georg and Michael Happes on rootsweb, and on The Cheek Family of Alleghany County, NC, website.

He is buried at the Hoppers Cemetery on Spicer Mountain Road.
